What does it mean to die, to live, to create, and to love? Tacoma Little Theatre and The University of Washington-Tacoma Theatre Department bring Pulitzer Prize-winner Nilo (nee/low) Cruz’s surrealist play, Lorca in a Green Dress, to the Tacoma Little Theatre stage Friday-Sunday, March 7-March 23, 2025, with a special “Pay What You Can” performance on Thursday, March 20 at 7:30pm. Spanish poet Federico García Lorca finds himself in purgatory after being killed in the Spanish Civil War. With dramatic and sensual flamenco flair, the play examines his life and death, with six different actors portraying aspects of his personality.
Lorca in a Green Dress is recommended for ages 12 and over.
